It has allowed us to explain phenomena that eludes us, and brings us closer to our beginning.
Science allows us to see what makes us human, to see us down to our cells and genes, of what we have in common and what separates us from each other.
The very fact that we have discovered things like quarks (the itty bitty bits that make up itty bitty atoms) just leaves me in awe.
With scientific technology we can work towards improving our lives, and discovering new ones. To even travel to far out places in other galaxies. Just imagine going on adventures like the Doctor, from Satellite 5 to Gallifrey.
There is just so much more left in this universe to discover!
What I find utterly perplexing is that people don't want to know. Why? That is no attitude towards developing the technology for lightsabers!
The discovery and intrigue of science is just so inspiring. As a world community we should encourage the minds of innovators, inventors, the dreamers and anyone with hope for a better future.
I leave you with a thought.... Where would you be without science?
